What Is Precision Attachment Prosthesis?
Also known as snap-in prosthesis, it is a type of prosthesis with hidden attachments developed to prevent the appearance of clasps that disrupt smile aesthetics in removable partial dentures.
What Is the Treatment Process?
In order to make precision attachment prostheses, porcelain coatings are made to the supporting teeth to place the attachments. With these coatings, a part compatible with the new snap prosthesis is placed inside the tooth, preventing the prosthesis from moving and dislodging during chewing.
