What Is A Total Prosthesis?
Commonly known as full dentures or complete dentures, a total prosthesis is a type of prosthesis made by taking support from the existing bone and soft tissue if we have no teeth at all.
How Is It Made?
In order to replace the lost tissue and teeth, records and measurements of the patient are taken from the existing jaw to prepare a model. Based on this model and the patient's facial aesthetics, artificial teeth are selected and custom-made for the individual.
What Causes Total Tooth Loss?
Although tooth loss affects our smile and aesthetics, it can also lead to many digestive system diseases due to the inability to perform sufficient chewing function.
